Can I feed my cat weight loss food if he doesn’t need to lose any weight?

I have 2 cats. One is overweight, and the other one isn’t. The cat that doesn’t need to lose any weight, however, really likes the weight loss food I feed the other cat. The food is Wellness (Weight Loss Formula). I tried feeding the other one Wellness CORE, but he just goes to the other food bowl instead. I’m just wondering if it’s okay for him to eat it, or if I need to try buying something else for him. Thank you!
