Will coffee intefere with my weight loss plan?

I am on a weight loss plan to shed about 35 pounds this year. Will drinking a cup of coffee every day slow down my weight loss? I assume that it would be better to use low-fat and low-sugra sweeteners. Any ideas?

Im looking to shed a few pounds and work on my fitness. Im smack dab in my mid 20s, young, active, funny and a pretty smart cookie. Im not interested in joining anything that involves me paying someone to tell me I need to lose weight. I would like to have a pen pal so we can exchange goals, pics, recipes, dieting tips etc. Basically someone to reach my goal with. Does anyone know of a website or is anyone interested in maybe being my weight loss pal or to offer moral support? Thnx!!!!!

Whenever I lose just a couple of pounds it brings on considerable anxiety. Keep in mind that I do need to lose the weight and I experience the anxiety BEFORE I realize I’ve had any weight loss. Anyone know what might be the reason for this? I am sure it is not psychological. Thanks.

Target water weight loss on the abdomen?

I know that targeting weight loss and spot reduction aren’t possible, but I’ve been trying to lose the last bit of water weight in my thighs, stomach and love handles. I’ve stayed on a pretty consistent diet over the past month and every area has toned down except for my midsection.

When I do cardio, is there a way I can make my mid section sweat more to eliminate more water weight? I drink plenty of water each day, so I am making sure the excess salt is removed from my body. Is there something, like wrapping ACE bandages around my body that’ll help me sweat more from that area?

 

Is this healthy weight loss, and other suggestions?

I’m 21, and was 230 pounds about 2-3 weeks ago, I have been dieting since then and am at 225 now. I do a light to moderate amount of physical activity. Anyways, I’ve been consistently eating approx 1500-1700 calories daily for my weight loss. I am in college so it is often difficult to find healthy food, but I am eating mostly fruits and vegetables, tuna, and having lunch meat or bagel sandwitches and running 2-3 days a week.

So thats what I doing, could I be doing anything better, or am I doing something not as good as I should. Is that too little calories too eat for my size or can I reduce them even more. Should I be eating other types of food, vitamins, etc.

Just looking for some good general advice.
